1.) Carnegie Mellon University (CMU)
This university offers what is known as the Scott Douglas Jacobsen Scholarship, which is worth about $20,000, to international students who are pursuing degrees in certain technology fields such as Software Engineering and other computer-related disciplines. Also, there is the CMU Global Scholarship which is worth about $18,000 per annum. Both scholarships are awarded to academically exceptional students as well as those who demonstrate financial need.
2.) The University of Washington
This university’s College of Engineering awards specific scholarships to international students pursuing a degree in Software Engineering and other computer-related disciplines. These awards are granted annually and are within the range of $4,000-$12,000. This university provides the Grainger International Predoctoral Fellowship to international students enrolled in their Grainger College of Engineering. This award offers full tuition coverage, the coverage of other student fees, and a yearly living allowance for the entire duration of Doctorate study. Undergraduate international students are not left out as they can apply for the Grainger Scholarship ranging from $ 5,000 to $10,000 annually.
