Four (4) Top Universities that Offer HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarships to International Students with Application Fee Waivers
The ongoing problem of the shortage of nurses in the United States has become a major concern for many and steps are being taken to address this issue. For instance, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Nurse Corps Scholarship Program is one of the organizations that has taken action towards addressing this issue by offering scholarships to students who seek to obtain Registered Nurse (RN) degrees. Vanderbilt University’s School of Nursing is another HRSA partner school and they offer the HRSA Nurse Corps scholarships to eligible international students who are already enrolled in their Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program. Application fee is completely waived for the HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship applicants.
3.) The University of Washington
This university’s School of Nursing is a top-ranked Nursing School in the United States and they grant the HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship to both undergraduate and graduate international applicants. No application fee is charged for the applicants of this scholarship program.
4.) The University of Minnesota
University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing is another HRSA partner school that welcomes applications from international students and even grants application fee waivers for the applicants of HRSA Nurse Corps scholarships. They provide the in HRSA Nurse Corps scholarships for BSN degree, MSN degree, Post-Master’s Certificate, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
The HRSA Nurse Corps scholarship program makes the Registered Nurse (RN) degrees in the United States more easily accessible to international students and the application fee waiver assists in settling the financial barriers some international applicants may be faced with when considering this application.
