Role: Slick line operator.

As a slick line operator, you will be responsible for:

• Performing slick line operations to move equipment and tools in and out of oil and gas wells during well intervention work. This includes lowering and operating the downhole of wireline tools.
• Preparing slick line equipment like winches, wirelines, tools, and safety equipment for safe operations. Ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
• Reading wellbore schematics and understanding equipment limitations to devise safe operational plans.
• Communicating effectively with the well site supervisor and other crew members during operations.
• Operating slick line winches and tools to lower/pull equipment at proper speeds according to operational plans. Monitoring wirelines and equipment for issues.
• Performing tasks during slick line operations like making connections, installing/removing plugs/packers, etc. under supervision.
• Ensuring safety standards are followed related to personal protective equipment, hazard awareness, equipment condition, rig safety procedures, etc.
• Documenting slick line job details like depths reached, issues encountered, and equipment performance in reports.
• Performing basic maintenance and inspections of slick line equipment between jobs. Identifying repair or replacement needs.
• Assisting with other onsite operations as needed under supervision.
