Three (3) Top Private High Schools in Missouri, USA, that Offer the Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program (MESAP) to international students
The Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program (MESAP) is a scholarship program that helps students obtain education savings accounts. These savings accounts can then be appropriately used for approved education-related expenses.
Although MESAP is made to primarily serve resident families in the State of Missouri, there are, however, opportunities for international students to participate in this scholarship program as well. These opportunities are provided by top private schools in the state that are in partnership with MESAP to offer more education access to international students.
The eligibility criteria for International Students include:
1.) Be enrolled in a public school in Missouri for a minimum of 100 days.
2.) Obtain an F-1 student visa.
3.) Demonstrate financial need.
Some of the approved private schools that specifically enroll international students for the purpose of participation in the scholarship program include:
1.) Ladue Horton Watkins High School, St. Louis
This school grants MESAP scholarships to international secondary school students who seek to obtain an American diploma. The provided accounts assist in tuition coverage, books, transportation, and other necessary expenses.
2.) Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS), St. Louis
MICDS, a top-rated private school, admits at least 150 international students each year. MICDS provides MESAP funds to international boarding students who have successfully demonstrated that they are in need of financial assistance.
3.) Park Hill School, Kansas City
With their MESAP partnership, this school renders funding assistance to exceptionally qualified international secondary school students accepted into the program. The funding covers full tuition, exam fees, and other academic expenses.
