This position is supervised by Dr. Amna Mazen, whose research focuses on mobile manipulators for healthcare and industrial applications.

π Research Focus
This PhD will explore mobile manipulators applied in:
- Healthcare β robotic assistants, rehabilitation, and hospital automation.
- Industry β advanced automation, logistics, and precision manipulation.
- Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) β designing robots that interact naturally and safely with humans.
You will gain expertise in robotic perception, navigation, motion planning, and intelligent systems.
π― Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates should have:
- A Masterβs degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid background in ROS, SLAM, MoveIt, mobile robot navigation, manipulator motion planning, and robot perception.
- At least one published paper in a relevant field.
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, and C++.
- Excellent analytical, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Preference for candidates with experience in mobile manipulators and Human-Robot Interaction.
