1.) The University of California

 

This university has a number of campuses that offer scholarships for teaching credential programs. The  Berkeley campus awards the Alvin and Joyce Thompson Teacher Education Scholarship of about $5,000 each year to qualified international Teaching Credential applicants. The Davis campus awards the Dean’s Scholarship for Teacher Education which covers between 50%-100% tuition.

 

2.) Stanford University

 

Stanford University provides scholarships for international students with financial need through the Lee L. Jacks Scholarship. This award is as much as $10,000 and is granted to the Teaching Credential program

international candidates.

 

3.) The University of Southern California

 

The University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education grants a number of scholarships to Credential students. These awards range from $ 2,000 to $5,000 per annum.

 

4.) Loyola Marymount University

 

This University offers scholarships to Education students. The James O’Brien Endowed Scholarship and the Carol Schatz Scholarship cover about 25%-50% of tuition for qualified Teaching Credential candidates while the Sister Ann Domenica Scholarship offers $3,000 to students pursuing a Teaching program at LMU’s Catholic school.
