๐Ÿ” About the Role

As the Specialist, Clinical Trial Quality and Compliance, youโ€™ll play a critical role in maintaining and advancing Deakinโ€™s clinical research standards. Your work will ensure all clinical trials are conducted ethically, efficiently, and in full compliance with national and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Excellence: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes in alignment with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and other global standards.
  • Auditing & Reporting: Conduct internal reviews, assess compliance, and prepare data-driven quality reports.
  • Training & Awareness: Design and deliver engaging training programs to strengthen research integrity and compliance culture.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships across research teams, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Leadership & Innovation: Lead initiatives that enhance compliance, promote inclusivity, and foster a high-performance research environment.

๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications & Experience

To thrive in this position, you should have:

  • A postgraduate qualification (or progress toward one) in a related field, or extensive equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in clinical trial governance, quality assurance, and research conduct.
  • A deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and ethical standards governing clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into clear guidance.
