Obtain a Scholarship via the Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program for International Students!
The Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program is made to primarily serve resident families in the State of Missouri. However, there are opportunities for international students to participate in this scholarship program as well.
The eligibility criteria for International Students include:
1.) Be enrolled in a public school in Missouri for a minimum of 100 days.
2.) Obtain an F-1 student visa.
3.) Demonstrate financial need.
There are some private schools that specifically enroll international students for the purpose of participation in the scholarship program. Below is a list of approved schools for International Student Participation.
1.) Immaculate Conception School (Jackson)
2.) Springfield Catholic Schools (Springfield)
3.) Missouri Military Academy (Mexico)
4.) Academy of the Sacred Heart (St. Charles)
5.) John Burroughs School (St. Louis)
To apply as an international student, kindly follow the steps below.
a.) Meet up with the eligibility criteria and F-1 visa status requirements.
b.) Before entering a participating Missouri school, submit your application during the open application period.
c.) Have at hand any additional documents of international student status.
d.) When accepted into a partner Missouri private school, immediately sign program agreements.
e.) Quickly set up your scholarship account through an approved Missouri nonprofit organization.
f.) Submit all the necessary education expense receipts obtained from the partner Missouri school.
