The Coordinator of Student Engagement plays a key role in enhancing student life, leadership, and community engagement at CMU-Q. This full-time position involves strategic planning, event coordination, and leadership development to create a vibrant and inclusive student community.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for student development, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to foster a thriving campus environment.
💼 Core Responsibilities
1. Student Development & Community Engagement
- Lead and coordinate student engagement programs and leadership initiatives.
- Develop a comprehensive student leadership development framework.
- Advise students on personal, academic, and career goals.
- Plan and manage university traditions and large-scale student events.
- Organize leadership workshops and training sessions across undergraduate levels.
- Represent Student Affairs at Education City committees and outreach events.
2. Student Activities & Event Coordination
- Oversee the Campus Groups platform for event management and club coordination.
- Supervise and support six athletic teams, including scheduling and league management.
- Lead the intramural sports program, promoting health and wellness.
- Develop a social media strategy to increase student engagement and event participation.
- Advise student organizations on budgeting, event planning, and leadership skills.
- Maintain accurate records of events, budgets, and evaluations.
- Serve on the campus Events Committee, collaborating with multiple university departments.
