π‘ Key Responsibilities
As a Professional Research Assistant, you will:
- Develop software code to operate microcontroller systems for scientific field equipment
- Design and implement data acquisition code on Raspberry Pi controllers, including signal averaging and peak detection algorithms
- Contribute to data visualization, numerical modeling, and technical documentation
This role is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on engineering, system design, and scientific software development.
π Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Physics, Astronomy, or Engineering
- Strong experience in:
- Python, C++, C#, and Bash
- Git, UNIX/Linux, and Windows environments
- Numerical modeling and data visualization
- LaTeX and technical documentation
β Preferred Skills
- Experience with MATLAB and shell scripting
- Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills
