Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the general and specific entry requirements for doctoral studies at Stockholm University.

General Requirements:

• A second-cycle degree (Master’s degree)
• At least 240 higher education credits, of which 60 must be at the second-cycle level
• Equivalent qualifications from Sweden or abroad

Specific Requirements:

• At least 60 credits at the Master’s level in Computer and Systems Sciences (or equivalent)
• A Master’s thesis worth a minimum of 15 credits
• English language proficiency at CEFR Level B2 or equivalent

Additional strengths include independence, methodological maturity, problem formulation skills, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Swedish is considered a plus.

• Type of employment: Full-time, temporary PhD student contract
• Duration: Four years (renewed annually based on performance)
• Workload: Primarily doctoral studies, with up to 20% teaching/research assistance
