Research Project Focus

Eligibility and Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the general and specific entry requirements for doctoral studies at Stockholm University.
General Requirements:
- A second-cycle degree (Master’s degree)
- At least 240 higher education credits, of which 60 must be at the second-cycle level
- Equivalent qualifications from Sweden or abroad
Specific Requirements:
- At least 60 credits at the Master’s level in Computer and Systems Sciences (or equivalent)
- A Master’s thesis worth a minimum of 15 credits
- English language proficiency at CEFR Level B2 or equivalent
Additional strengths include independence, methodological maturity, problem formulation skills, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Swedish is considered a plus.
Employment Details
- Type of employment: Full-time, temporary PhD student contract
- Duration: Four years (renewed annually based on performance)
- Workload: Primarily doctoral studies, with up to 20% teaching/research assistance
- Salary: Fixed, competitive PhD-level salary
