A number of institutions in the UK and Canada grant merit-based scholarships to international students who qualify for GCU scholarships. Here is a list of some of such universities.

Some universities in the UK that award GCU scholarships include:

1.) The University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh offers the International Leadership Scholars Award which is up to £5,000 to international students who meet the GCU scholarship requirements.

2.) University of Manchester

The University of Manchester provides what is known as the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship of about £2,000 to international students who are qualified for GCU scholarships.

3.) The University of British Columbia

The University of British Columbia Awards the GCU scholarships to international students through the Major Entrance Scholarship which is as much as $30,000 CAD.

The requirements for obtaining the GCU scholarship include:

a.) Candidate must have graduated from secondary school within the last 2 years

b.) Candidate must be, at least, among the top 5% of your graduating class or have a GPA of at least 3.7.

c.) Candidate must achieve high extracurricular accomplishments.

d.) International candidates must have gained admission into an undergraduate degree program before the scholarship consideration.
