🧠 Position Overview

The selected Research AssistantsΒ will support a collaborative project on teacher psychophysiology during laboratory tasks. Working closely with Dr. Michelle Rozenman (University of Denver) and Dr. Kamilah Legette (Rutgers University), you will assist in data processing and analysis for physiological measures such as:

  • Electrodermal activity (EDA)
  • Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)
  • Respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA)

This research aims to deepen understanding of teacher well-being, youth outcomes, and academic resilience, contributing to evidence-based educational and psychological interventions.


🧩 Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and implement psychophysiology data management and analysis methods
  • Prepare, process, and track participant data files accurately
  • Collaborate in weekly research meetings with Dr. Rozenman and other team members
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain detailed records
  • Participate in potential publications and conference presentations

  • Must be a University of Denver student available for 10 hours/week through June 2026
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data organization
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Prior experience with SPSS or similar data management tools
  • Previous involvement in research projects
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Schedule: 10 hours per week (flexible, on-campus)

  • Training: Full training in psychophysiological data management provided
