๐Ÿ’ผ Key Responsibilities

As a Professional Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in the success of CUChangeโ€™s studies. Your primary duties will include:

  • Recruiting, screening, and scheduling research participants
  • Obtaining informed consent and managing study documentation
  • Conducting exercise testing and supervised sessions
  • Administering self-report measures and behavioral tasks
  • Managing data collection, entry, and quality control
  • Working respectfully with participants from diverse backgrounds, including those with physical or cognitive limitations

This position requires professionalism, empathy, and an ability to thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary research environments.


๐ŸŽ“ Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Life Sciences, Physiology, or a related field
  • Experience in exercise testing with non-athletes
  • Prior involvement in human participant research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation for travel between research sites in the Denver metro area

๐ŸŒŸ Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills are highly desirable:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with phlebotomy or IV procedures
  • Familiarity with REDCap project design and management
  • Experience in IRB-compliant human clinical trials
  • Laboratory experience with biohazardous samples (blood, stool, saliva)
  • Skills in R/RStudio, statistical analysis, and wet lab procedures (ELISA, qPCR, flow cytometry)

The annual salary for this position ranges from $46,500 to $48,500, depending on qualifications and experience.
