🧠 Position Overview: Research Assistant

The Research Assistant will collaborate with Professors Kimalee Dickerson and Carl Stenberg on a qualitative research project exploring the experiences of local government employees in North Carolina.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive literature reviews
• Analyzing previously collected interview data
• Assisting in drafting research reports and scholarly articles

This is a temporary, part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week) with an estimated duration of three months or less.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent training and experience
• Strong ability to collect, analyze, and document data
• Basic knowledge of research principles, data analysis, and information systems
• Familiarity with statistics and information technology tools
• Strong communication skills for presenting and explaining research findings

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework or background in Public Administration
• Experience working in academic or government research environments
